About Institute

The Center for Biological Rhythm and Chronomedicine focuses on understanding the intricate mechanisms of biological rhythms and their impact on health and disease. Biological rhythms, including circadian rhythms, govern various physiological processes in the body, such as sleep-wake cycles, hormone release, and metabolism.

At the Center, our primary goals include:

  1. Research: Conducting cutting-edge research to uncover the molecular, cellular, and systemic basis of biological rhythms. We explore how these rhythms are influenced by genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors.

  2. Clinical Applications: Translating research findings into clinical practice to improve diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of rhythm-related disorders. This includes conditions like sleep disorders, metabolic syndromes, and mental health issues.

  3. Education and Training: Providing education and training for healthcare professionals, researchers, and the public on the importance of biological rhythms and chronomedicine. We aim to raise awareness about the role of timing in health and disease management.

  4. Collaboration: Fostering interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers, clinicians, and industry partners to advance the field of chronomedicine. By working together, we aim to develop innovative approaches to optimize health outcomes.

  5. Public Engagement: Engaging with the public to promote understanding of biological rhythms and their impact on daily life. We offer resources and programs to help individuals adopt lifestyle changes that align with their natural rhythms for better health and well-being.

The Center for Biological Rhythm and Chronomedicine is dedicated to advancing our knowledge of how biological timing influences health and applying this knowledge to improve lives.
